Enclosed Tube Belt Conveyor System for Curved Dust Free Bulk Material Transport

The enclosed tube belt conveyor is an innovative solution for clean, flexible, and space-saving bulk material handling. Unlike traditional flat belt systems, this system uses a circular pipe belt formed by hexagonal idlers to achieve fully enclosed, curved, and bidirectional conveying.

Ideal for industries like mining, cement, power plants, steel, ports, grain handling, salt, and paper mills, it reduces environmental impact, improves safety, and eliminates transfer points — delivering efficiency and performance in complex layouts.

Key Features

1. Fully Enclosed Conveying
Protects materials from wind, rain, dust, and contamination. No spillage or pollution, supporting green and sustainable operations.

2. Curved and Flexible Path Design
Supports horizontal and vertical curves, eliminating the need for transfer stations. Easily bypasses buildings, rivers, roads, and obstacles.

3. Steep Inclination Capability
Transports materials at slopes up to 30% steeper than flat conveyors — perfect for uphill or vertical elevation challenges.

4. Bi-Directional Transport
Upper and lower belt sections can carry materials simultaneously in opposite directions with special feeders, increasing efficiency.

5. No Belt Misalignment
The circular tube structure keeps the belt in position, minimizing wear and reducing downtime from deviation or tracking failures.

6. Eco-Friendly and Cost Saving
No need for external covers or galleries, lowering installation and civil engineering costs while reducing the conveyor’s footprint.

Working Principle

This system uses frictional drive principles like traditional conveyors but forms the belt into a circular tube shape via hexagonal idler sets. Material is enclosed inside the pipe, conveyed along horizontal and vertical curves, and discharged through precision feeders. The return section is also enclosed, ensuring a clean and efficient cycle.

Applications

  • Mining: Ore and coal transport over uneven terrain

  • Cement & Power: Safe handling of clinker, ash, and fuel

  • Port Terminals: Grain, fertilizer, salt, and chemical powders

  • Steel Mills: Conveying materials without loss or contamination

  • Paper and Food Plants: Eco-safe movement of raw materials
