Conical Self Aligning Idler Roller for Conveyor Belt Tracking in Mining Cement
The Conical Self Aligning Idler Roller is a key component for maintaining proper belt alignment in conveyor systems. Designed with tapered rollers mounted on pivoting frames, it self-corrects belt deviation using mechanical feedback — eliminating manual adjustments and minimizing downtime.
Widely used in mining, cement, quarrying, power plants, and bulk material ports, this idler roller increases system stability and reduces belt damage caused by misalignment.
Working Principle
When a conveyor belt strays from its path, the narrower end of the conical roller engages the belt first. This creates a difference in surface velocity across the roller, generating a lateral force that causes the roller assembly to pivot and steer the belt back to its central position, automatically realigning the belt without operator input.
Application Fields
Mining and Quarrying Operations
Cement and Aggregate Production
Thermal Power Plants
Grain and Agricultural Terminals
Chemical and Fertilizer Facilities
Port and Terminal Bulk Conveyors
